Simsbury Man Sees Charges Dropped

Eric Stevens, the alleged victim in a murder-for-hire plot, had been facing three criminal charges.

Stevens agreed not to oppose the plea agreement that his ex-wife, Tiffany Stevens, entered on Monday, and she and her father agreed not to oppose having the charges against him dropped.

He had been charged with second-degree harassment and two counts of criminal possession of a firearm.

With the dropping of the charges, the Stevens’ are finished with Connecticut’s criminal justice system, however, they are still fighting over visitation and custody of their daughter in a New York court.
