Simsbury Police Investigating Home Invasion

Simsbury Police are investigating a home invasion that occurred Monday. 

Officers responded to a residence on Vining Drive for a report of a home invasion, police said. Upon police arrival the suspect had already fled the area.  

The victim stated that an unknown male entered the home around 6:30 p.m. and demanded money, police said. The assailant took property from the home and left in an unknown vehicle. No weapons were used. Police believe the assailant was familiar with the residence.
