Simsbury Police Log for Jan. 11 to Jan. 23, 2014

A minor was charged with possession of alcohol by a minor on Jan. 11, 2014.

John P. Merz, 52, of 49 Musket Trail, Simsbury was charged with operating under the influence on Jan. 13, 2014.

Gerald Jennings, 32, of 71 Hopmeadow St., Apt. 9A2, Weatogue, was charged with operating with a revoked or suspsect registration/license and failure to obey stop sign on Jan. 13, 2014.

Mike Allen Miller, 18, of 47 Pierce St., Plainville was charged with sixth-degree larceny on Jan. 14, 2014.

James Jan Dardis, 22, of 58 Pierce St., Plainville was charged with sixth-degree larceny on Jan. 14, 2014.

Ryan Orosz, 22, of 20 Harvest Lane, Windsor Locks, was charged with operating with a registration /license that is suspended or revoked and evading responsibility on Jan. 15, 2014.

Dexter C. Burke, 37, of 50 Hoskins Road, was charged with 4 counts of Risk of  

Injury to a Minor, 4 counts of Illegal Sexual Contact, 4 counts of Sex Assault 4th Degree, and 8 counts of Sex Assault 2nd Degree. He was released on a $150,000.00 bond and was scheduled to appear at Enfield Superior Court G.A. 13 on January 16, 2013.

Justin R. Welikson, 23, of 792 Farmington Ave., Apt. 103, Farmington was charged with second-degree harasment and criminal violation of a protective order on Jan 16. 2014. 

Matthew Buchanan, 19, of 38 Alan Dr., Weatogue was charged with speeding, greater than 60 mph, no insurance and failure to carry registration or insurance id on Jan 23, 2014.
