Simsbury Republicans Choose Candidates
Party members met on Tuesday to decide who will be running in the fall.

On Tuesday, the Republican party members met to decide who will run for election in the fall.
The members nominated Phil Purciello for First Selectman and incumbents Mike Paine, Sean Askham, and Cheryl Cook for the Board of Selectman.

Board of Finance nominees are Robert Pomeroy and Kevin Prell, and Board of Education nominees were incumbents Susan Salina and Tom Doran.
The Board of Assessment nominee is Jim Tourtilotte, the Planning Commission nominees are incumbents Bill Rice and Mark Drake, and the Planning Alternate nominees are incumbents Gary Lungarini and Ron Locandro.

For the Zoning Commission incumbents Gerry Post and Vaughan Marecki were nominated. Incumbents Jakie Battos and Mike Doyle were nominated as Zoning Alternates.
The Zoning Board of Appeals nominees were incumbents Joanna Hogan and Craig McCormac and newcomer Chris Moran. For the Zoning Board of Appeals alternate, incumbent Paul Cocchi, Jr. and newcomer Diane Madigan were nominated.
Incumbent Sarah Mogck and newcomers Lauren Miller and Linda Johnson were nominated for the Library Board.
