Simsbury Restaurant Adds Taco Truck

Millwright's has brought back a taco truck which will be open in the restaurant's parking lot.

SIMSBURY, CT — Acclaimed restaurant Millwright's has brought back its taco truck, which will stay in the eatery's parking lot five days a week until the weather turns cold, according to The Hartford Courant. The truck, dubbed Ta-Que, will also serve barbecue, rice bowls, smoked meats sold by the pound, alongside beer, wine, and cocktails.

Millwright's is the restaurant of chef Tyler Anderson, who said that Ta-Que is an homage to his childhood in Orange County, California, according to The Hartford Courant. The food truck will be open 5-9 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.

Anderson has been nominated for the James Beard Best Chef Northeast award six years in a row. He has also been named CT Chef of the Year, according to his website. Tyler was featured on Season 15 of "Top Chef," as well as on "Chopped" and "Beat Bobby Flay."
