Simsbury Town Planner Moving On
After eight years, Hiram Peck has accepted a new job.

The town of Simsbury’s town planner will soon be in a new position, reports the Hartford Courant.
Hiram Peck will be moving to Avon to replace Steven Kushner, who is retiring after 26 years. The hope is that Peck will be in place by the end of August.

Peck has been the town planner in Simsbury for the past eight years and in addition to overseeing Simsbury’s land use office, he supervised the town’s building department.
He has a master’s degree in regional planning from the University of Massachusetts and is certified by the American Institute of Certified Planners.
