Simsbury Weekend Weather Forecast Includes Plenty of Sun

It’s not perfect, but we’re looking at a pretty nice weather weekend.
We’ll deal with some gray skies on Friday and a slight chance of showers each day of the weekend. The high temperature will be around 60 degrees.

Saturday is the best day of the weekend. The forecast calls for mostly sunny skies, temps in the mid 60s with a light wind. It will be a bit chilly Saturday night with temps back into the mid 40s.
On Sunday there is a very slight rain chance after 12 p.m. but plenty of sunshine is also predicted. The good news is the temps will be near 70 degrees.

Ironically, the best day of the year weather wise, may be on Monday when it’s forecast to be sunny and temperatures may hit the mid 70s.
Here is the National Weather Service’s specific forecast for Simsbury (as of the 1:51 p.m. update):
- Friday afternoon: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 62. Northeast wind around 6 mph.
- Friday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 44. Southeast wind around 6 mph becoming calm after midnight.
- Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 69. Calm wind.
- Saturday night: Isolated showers before 10pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 45. South wind 5 to 8 mph becoming calm after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
- Sunday: A slight chance of showers after 2pm. Patchy fog before 8am. Otherwise, mostly sunny, with a high near 72. West wind 3 to 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
- Sunday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 49.
- Monday: Sunny, with a high near 78.
