Simsbury's Fireworks Details Announced

Fireworks will cap a memorable first evening of entertainment at the annual Talcott Mountain Music Festival on Friday, July 1.

Music fans at the Performing Arts Center at Simsbury Meadows will be delighted by the sounds of the Hartford Symphony Orchestra, directed by Carolyn Kuan and introducing the HSO’s new assistant conductor, Adam Kerry Boyles. Also featuring the Asylum Hill Congregational Church Choir, this program will include many patriotic favorites, as well as some swinging jazz numbers and more.

The show begins at 7:30 p.m., and will be followed by a fireworks display.

Rain date is set for July 2.
