Connecticut Weather: Accumulating Snow Expected For Saturday
Snow accumulation estimates have been released for this end of the year storm and an update on just how cold it will be this weekend.

On Tuesday, the National Weather Service said it was watching for the potential for heavy snow to fall on Saturday and while that isn't going to materialize, Connecticut is still expected to see some light snow that is expected to accumulate during the afternoon on Saturday.
While the snow won't pile up, the continued freezing temps will stick around for several more days as high temps won't even approach 20 degrees except for Sunday. Wind chills will continue to make it feel like below zero in places too.
As for the light snow on Saturday, the National Weather Service and local television stations in Connecticut are all in the same range. Generally, 1 to 3 inches of snow is expected to accumulate, with southeastern Connecticut expected to receive the most snow.

NBC Connecticut Meteorologists are predicting 1 to 3 inches of snow statewide with the snow to begin around midday Saturday and for it to fall lightly and sometimes moderately at times.
"With air temperatures being in the upper teens to lower 20s, this will be a very light and fluffy snowfall, of which will accumulate very easily," NBC Connecticut says.
