The Storyteller’s Cottage will host a charming Mad Hatter Tea Party for families and
children on Saturday, April 20 from 1:00 - 3:00 pm. Guests will begin by decorating their favorite hat in the elegant Jane Austen Salon, then will move on to the lovely Literary Tea Room to decorate a cupcake, which they can then enjoy with herbal tea in a beautiful china cup. Participants are invited to bring their favorite hat, and the Storyteller’s Cottage will provide an array of flowers, butterflies, rhinestones and glue. This fun event is a wonderful way for multiple generations to celebrate spring together.

The Storyteller’s Cottage is located in a vintage Victorian house in the center of historic Simsbury, CT, and hosts all manner of immersive literary events throughout the year, including Agatha Christie inspired live murder mystery parties, Great Gatsby themed Jazz Supper Clubs, fascinating close-up illusions at Fine Parlor Magic nights, a Literary Dinner Party series on select evenings at midnight, and more.
