Carol Fitzgerald, New Horizons' CEO, felt that it was critical to expand their reach, saying "The pandemic has created enormous challenges and being able to access critical medical care through reliable transportation has never been more important." With over thirty years of experience providing safe, reliable and on-time rides, the demand for their services keeps increasing. With their first office in Unionville, they looked to Simsbury to expand their reach into an under-served area.
“Being mobile is essential to our overall well-being and feeling of independence. As we age, physical limitations may hinder our mobility. Sunshine Wheels has done a wonderful job providing safe, reliable transportation to our residents, enabling many of them to retain much of their independence. Their responsiveness and dedication to service has made my job a lot easier,” stated Holly Woodruff, Unit Secretary McLean Long-Term Care.
