SIMSBURY, CT — A suspect wanted in connection with the February robbery of a Dunkin' Donuts shop on Route 10 and 202 has been arrested, police said.

Geoffrey Shapiro, 39, of Windsor Locks, was charged on a warrant Tuesday with second-degree robbery, and was held on $100,000 bond. He has been in custody in lieu of $250,000 bond since his Feb. 21 arrest on charges of robbing a Webster Bank branch in Glastonbury, according to judicial records.

In late afternoon on Feb. 9, the Dunkin' Donuts at 142 Hopmeadow St. was held up by a man wearing a light green/teal coat with white fur trim on the hood, a Red Sox baseball hat and jeans. Surveillance video from the store produced clear images of the suspect, according to police.
