What Topics Would You Like Simsbury's Phone Survey to Ask About?
The town government has hired a survey company to ask residents about town topics — what should they ask about?

Simsbury officials want to know what topics you think town residents should be asked about when a telephone survey is conducted for the town during the week of May 18, according to an announcement on the town government website.
Town officials will hold a public meeting from 5 to 6 p.m., on Monday, May 11 to ask residents what topics they’d like to see covered in the survey. If you can’t make it to the meeting but want to give officials your opinion or thoughts, you can also email or mail them by May 11 to Stephanie Riefe at sriefe@simsbury-ct.gov or Stephanie Riefe, C/O Simsbury Town Hall, 933 Hopmeadow Street, Simsbury, CT 06070.
The town has hired GreatBlue, a professional polling company, to find out what residents think about various topics, such as the senior center, Town officials want to know how satisfied or dissatisfied residents are with town services and resources.

The survey is being conducted as part of a long-term planning study for Simsbury and will be used by town officials to help gauge residents’ priorities. Any calls from the survey firm will show up as ”GreatBlue” on caller ID systems.
“As required by the Code of Ethics of the National Council on Public Polls and the United States Privacy Act of 1974, GreatBlue Research, Inc. maintains the anonymity of respondents to surveys the firm conducts,” the announcement says. “No information will be released that might, in any way, reveal the identity of the respondent to the Town of Simsbury.”
