13 New Coronavirus Cases At Stratford Schools
Of the new cases, 11 are confirmed and two are presumptive, according to Stratford school officials.
STRATFORD, CT — The Stratford school district saw 13 new coronavirus cases Tuesday, according to an email from school officials.
Among the cases were:
- Bunnell High School, 4
- Flood Middle School, 3 (all recently working remotely)
- Johnson House Elementary School, 2 (both recently working remotely)
- Franklin Elementary School, 1 positive, 1 presumptive with results pending, Room 11 pre-kindergarten will work remotely Wednesday
- ALPHA Program, 1
- Second Hill Lane Elementary School, 1 presumptive with results pending
Also Tuesday, Superintendent Janet Robinson announced Stratford school buildings would not reopen Jan. 4 after the holiday break, but rather that students would learn remotely until Jan. 19 and then return to their pre-break classroom schedules.

District-wide as of early Wednesday, 30 students and eight staff members were in isolation with the virus, and 290 students and staffers were quarantined, according to the district dashboard, which reflects the most current available numbers.
