2 More Coronavirus Deaths, Over 600 Total Cases In Stratford
Totals rose Wednesday in town after both the number of confirmed new coronavirus cases and related deaths remained flat Tuesday.
STRATFORD, CT — The number of confirmed new coronavirus cases and related deaths remained flat Tuesday in Stratford, but totals rose again Wednesday, according to the mayor's office.
There were seven more positive cases Wednesday and two additional virus-associated deaths, bringing the town totals to 602 known cases and 54 deaths, Mayor Laura Hoydick said in an email to residents.
Across Connecticut, virus hospitalizations dropped by 55 patients after a single-day increase, the state reported Wednesday. There were 85 virus-associated deaths and 374 positive cases out of 2,804 tests reported Wednesday, bringing the state totals to 2,718 deaths, 30,995 confirmed cases and 111,447 tests.
