2 Robbed At Gunpoint In Stratford: Police

The robbers left in a stolen Jeep that was later recovered in Bridgeport, according to police.

STRATFORD, CT — Two people were robbed at gunpoint at a gas station Tuesday afternoon in Stratford, according to police.

The robbery happened around 3:10 p.m. at the Honeyspot Gulf gas station and involved three men in a 2015 Jeep Cherokee, according to Capt. Frank Eannotti.

Eannotti said the robbers stopped the two victims, who were walking, and showed a gun. They then stole two iPhones and $10 in cash before leaving in the Jeep.

The victims weren’t injured, according to Eannotti.

The Jeep, which was reported stolen, was recovered Wednesday morning in Bridgeport. Two people were taken into custody after a pursuit, according to Bridgeport police.
