The Bunnell High School girls lacrosse varsity and junior varsity teams have been placed on quarantine from April 23 to May 6 and can return to school on May 7. All team members need to get tested, according to officials.

“The affected persons have been instructed to remain home in self-isolation for 10 calendar days and have been provided with additional instructions to follow prior to returning to school and work,” officials wrote in the email. “Family members have also been instructed to self-quarantine (this is 14 days from exposure) and get tested. PCR test should be taken 5-6 days after exposure.

“Anyone who is considered a ‘close contact’ will be contacted by our school nurses and staff. They will provide instructions on the appropriate steps to take regarding quarantine and when to return to school or work.”

The Stratford school district returned from its Spring Break on Monday and is operating remotely for this week out of an "abundance of caution," according to Superintendent Janet Robinson.
