9 New Virus Cases Reported In Stratford Schools; 342 Quarantined

District-wide as of early Wednesday, a total of 25 students and 11 staff members were in isolation with the coronavirus.

STRATFORD, CT — Stratford schools have seen nine new coronavirus cases so far this week, according to the superintendent. More than 300 students and staff are quarantined across the district.

Superintendent Janet Robinson notified parents and staff about six cases Monday and three cases Tuesday. The new cases affected community members at seven schools:

  • Eli Whitney School (community member working remotely)
  • Franklin Elementary School (presumptive case, community member awaiting test results)
  • Wooster Middle School
  • Flood Middle School
  • Second Hill Lane School
  • Chapel Elementary School (community member working remotely)

Tuesday

  • Flood Middle School (previously presumptive case, community member now tested positive)
  • Wooster Middle School (community member working remotely)
  • Bunnell High School
