Beer Expert To Give Talk At Stratford Library
An advanced cicerone (a sommelier for beer), Emily Sauter returns to the library with an illustrated presentation about the world of beer.
STRATFORD, CT — The Stratford Library, 2203 Main St., will present Sunday Afternoon Talks, its monthly series of informative and entertaining talks featuring prominent local guest speakers, at 2 p.m. Sunday. This month’s topic is Around the World in 80 Beers!, with guest speaker Emily Sauter. Sunday Afternoon Talks is free and open to the public.
An advanced cicerone (a sommelier for beer), Emily Sauter returns to the library with a whirlwind illustrated hour-long presentation about the world of beer, from history to styles. Beer lovers will travel the globe and see how the world drinks and enjoys beer in unique and fascinating ways.

Emily Sauter is an award-winning cartoonist, author, public speaker and beer educator. Her book, "Beer is for Everyone! (of Drinking Age)," was published in 2018 by One Peace Books and autographed copies will be available for purchase at the library. Her website, Pints and Panels, features new visual beer educational content every weekday.
