Bunnell Ladies Roll Over Rivals

Cruz, Phommachanh, Greene, On Display In Win

On Thursday May 6th, at Bunnell’s Robert Mastoni Field, the Bunnell lady Bulldogs played host to the Stratford lady Red Devils, track and field style. Each team came in sporting one win and three losses on the season. Both teams are members of the South West Conference with the Bulldogs in the SWC Colonial Division and the Red Devils in the SWC Patriot Division.

As anyone knows in the Town of Stratford when these two teams get together, no matter what the event, records do not mean anything. The competition is fierce, there is electricity in the air, and athletes are at their best.

As a side note, these two teams see each other on a daily basis, standing across from each other during practice times. Both teams share the Bunnell facility as a training site in addition to each using it as their home track.
