Cars Stolen Near Wooster School; Stratford PD Seeks Public's Help

The thefts occurred while the cars were warming up between 5 a.m. and 7 a.m., according to Stratford police.

STRATFORD, CT — Stratford police are asking for the public's help to solve a string of recent car thefts.

"The Stratford Police Department has seen an uptick in stolen cars in the area surrounding Wooster Middle School within the last few days," the department said Tuesday in a Facebook post. "These occurred while the cars were warming up between the hours of 5 a.m. and 7 a.m."

Police are asking residents in the area to check their home surveillance systems for any recordings of suspicious activity around the time of the thefts and to email any relevant footage to video.stratfordctpd@gmail.com.
