Closures, Traffic Restrictions To Follow Stratford Fireworks
A specific traffic pattern will be enforced for those exiting Lordship after the fireworks display.
STRATFORD, CT — The Town of Stratford has released information about how traffic will be handled after its annual fireworks display Wednesday night at Short Beach.
The following traffic pattern will be used to exit Lordship after the fireworks display:
All traffic exiting the parking lots of Avco will be directed north on Main Street.

Vehicles exiting Short Beach will be directed to use both lanes of Dorne Drive to exit the parking lot. No traffic will go north. The north or right lane will be directed left on Stratford Road, right on Prospect Drive, left on Oak Bluff Avenue and right on Lordship Boulevard. The south or left lane will be directed to turn left on Short Beach Road, right on Lighthouse Avenue, right on Prospect Drive, left on Stratford Road and straight on Lordship Boulevard in the eastbound lane.
Lordship Boulevard will be closed to eastbound traffic from Access Road to Oak Bluff Avenue until traffic flow returns to normal. Residents will be allowed to enter Lordship at Main Street and Access Road.
