The following is a message posted Monday on Stratford Mayor John A. Harkins' official Facebook page:
"Beat the heat! All Stratford fire stations (Main Street, Oronoque Lane, Lordship, Huntington Road) are designated as cooling centers. Any resident seeking a respite from the heat may go to a local firehouse to cool down. All residents are asked seek out the station officer and they will guide them where to go to cool down."
