Cops: Clerk Assaulted in Holdup at Stratford Gas Station
Robbers made off with about $100, police said.
Police say two Hispanic males entered a Stratford BP Gas Station Sunday night and assaulted the clerk before fleeing on foot with about $100 taken from the register.
The incident at the 265 Boston Ave. business occurred at about 11:09 p.m. Sunday, police said.
The clerk sustained minor injuries, said police, who are asking anyone with information to call Detective Ulysses Munoz at 203.385.4172 or email umunoz@townofstratford.com, or call the confidential hotline at 203.375.8477.
