Cops: P/T Stratford Resident Found Hiding in Seymour

Local man was wanted on sexual assault charges, police said.

A part-time Stratford resident wanted on sexual assault charges was found hiding Thursday morning in an old garage in Seymour, police said.

Cody Urban, also known as Tony Mack, was discovered in an old mechanic garage that he had converted into an art studio, police said.

The 21-year-old Light Street resident, who also has a known residence in Mendocino, Calif., was wanted by police in connection with an alleged sexual assault in Clinton, Conn. on Oct. 3, 2013, police said.

The charges against Urban included first-degree aggravated sexual assault with a firearm, first-degree unlawful restraint, second-degree assault and first-degree strangulation.

Urban was held in lieu of $500,000 bond and was due to appear in Middletown Superior Court on Friday.
