Corner Market Opens In Stratford
The new business in Stratford's Lordship neighborhood offers a deli, general store and ice cream shop.

STRATFORD, CT — Stratford recently welcomed a new business to the Lordship neighborhood.
Mayor Laura Hoydick and other town officials attended a ribbon cutting Nov. 10 for Lordship Corner Market.
"The Lordship Corner Market has been extremely popular in Lordship since its recent opening," Karen Sportini, Stratford's supervisor of economic and community development, said in an email.

The business offers a deli, general store and ice cream shop. Specialties include soups, sandwiches, baked goods and the signature ice cream pizzas.
Lordship Corner Market opened in August at 348 Stratford Road, according to its Facebook page. The business is owned by siblings Moira Baird and Tim Jacobson, and their friend, Kerry Rooney.
