Couple Stole Debit Card, Went On Shopping Spree: Stratford Police
The pair spent over $1,000, including $742 on a 65-inch television, said police, who are seeking the public's help to identify the suspects.

STRATFORD, CT — A couple is accused of stealing a man’s wallet and using his debit card for a shopping spree earlier this month, according to Stratford police.
On Oct. 3, the man lost his wallet at Home Depot. It was found by a couple who spent $361 at Home Depot; $742 at Walmart, where they bought a 65-inch television; and $127 at BevMax liquor store, Capt. Frank Eannotti said Monday in an email.
The suspects include a white man, who is about 5 feet, 8 inches tall; 160 pounds; and 35 to 40 years old, as well as a white woman, who is 5 feet, 5 inches tall; 135 pounds; and 35 to 40 years old, according to Eannotti.

The man was wearing a white baseball cap with sunglasses on top of the hat, a blue jacket with a fluorescent yellow inner hood and fluorescent yellow trim with dark blue sleeves, a white T-shirt, a gold chain, blue shorts, short black socks and blue running sneakers, Eannotti said.
The woman, who had long hair, was wearing a long-sleeve gray shirt with a hood, gray leggings and black Nike running shoes, according to Eannotti.
