CT Weather: 50 MPH Wind Gusts Friday, Heavy Rain Sunday
The weather forecast for Connecticut Friday has it all, including strong wind gusts, possible thunderstorms, fog and even sunshine.
CONNECTICUT — This Friday forecast has it all for us: fog, rain, possibly thunderstorms, 50 mph wind gusts and even some sunshine. All we're missing is snow!
The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook and a wind advisory for the entire state Friday. The wind is expected to intensify Friday afternoon and 50 mph gusts are possible, the weather service said.
There will be fog and some rain Friday morning, but the sun will appear later in the afternoon.

If you have outdoor weekend plans, hopefully it's for Saturday, as there will be an abundance of sunshine and temperatures into the 60s.
On Sunday, we'll see an inch or more of rain beginning around noon and continuing throughout the night. On Monday, the sun returns but it will be colder, with high temperatures around 50 degrees.

Southern Fairfield-Southern New Haven-Southern Middlesex-Southern New London
A dense fog advisory is in effect for Friday morning. Visibility will be one quarter mile or less.
A wind advisory is in effect from 2 p.m. until midnight. Winds will gust between 15 and 25 mph with some gusts reaching 50 mph.
"Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects," the weather service said. "Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility."
Northern Fairfield-Northern New Haven-Northern Middlesex-Northern New London
A wind advisory is in effect from 2 p.m. until midnight. West winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.
"Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects," the weather service said. "Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result."
Hartford CT-Tolland CT-Windham CT
A wind advisory is in effect from noon Friday until 5 a.m. Saturday. Southwest winds 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.
"Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects," the weather service said. "Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result."
Litchfield County
A wind advisory is in effect from noon Friday until midnight tonight. West winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.
"Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects," the weather service said. "Isolated tree limbs could be blown down and some power outages may result."
