Elementary Student Serves As Stratford's 'Mayor For The Day'
The sixth-grade student served as Stratford's 'Mayor for the Day' this week.
STRATFORD, CT — Hailey Connor, a sixth-grade student at St. James School, served as Mayor for the Day on Wednesday, according to Stratford Mayor Laura Hoydick.
“It was a distinct honor and pleasure to be joined yesterday by sixth-grader Hailey Connor, our Mayor for the Day from St. James School,” Hoydick wrote in a post on Facebook. “When Hailey grows up, she wants to go into public service! We know she’ll be great at it and we wish her all the best!”
