'Room Service' is 'Script Talk' Offering at Stratford Library The Stratford Library’s monthly “Script Talk!” program continues its annual fall season with the madcap American comedy, “Room Service” on Tuesday, Oct. 8, beginning at noon.

Park City Toastmasters Club Meeting Park City Toastmasters is an open group of members wanting to become better speakers and gain confidence for anything from being able to ace a job interview, network with business associates or give a speech or presentation to a large audience. Meeting starts at 7:30 p.m.

National Depression Screening Day The Town of Stratford Community Services is participating in National Depression Screening Day by offering free screening.  For other times and locations, visit www.HealthyMindsCT.org.

Dance to Benefit Alzheimer's The Northbridge Caregiver Team and Riverview Bistro in Stratford are proud to present The Signature Band, benefitting the Alzheimer's Association, CT Chapter.

Saturday

Fall Festival to Benefit Animals The Stratford Animal Rescue Society welcomes you to their annual Fall Festival To Benefit Animals. Formerly known as the Dog Walk & Festival, the festival will be held at Paradise Green on Saturday, Oct. 12, from 10 a.m to 6 p.m. It will include a one-mile dog walk, food, contests, canine demonstrations, games, music, local celebrities, entertainment, pet adoptions, low cost microchip clinic, a silent auction, crafters/vendors for people and pets and much more.
