How Many Stratford Residents Received Coronavirus Vaccine So Far?
State health officials released data for the first time that shows how many residents in each town have been vaccinated for COVID-19.
STRATFORD, CT — A total of 4,298 Stratford residents received their first dose of the coronavirus vaccine as of Feb. 1, according to the state Department of Public Health.
There are 51,849 Stratford residents and 8.29 percent of them have received their first dose of the vaccine. Stratford has 4,798 residents over the age of 75 and 1,415 of them have received their first dose, or 29.49 percent, according to state health officials.
In nearby towns, Milford has disseminated the vaccine to 10.64 percent of its population, while Bridgeport is at 4.09 percent and Shelton is at 12.32 percent.

Since the pandemic began in March, Stratford has reported 3,725 cases and 127 deaths.
