Hundreds Without Power In Stratford After Storm
The town experienced some downed trees as a result of the storm, but no major damage, according to the fire marshal.

STRATFORD, CT — Nearly 300 Stratford residents were without power Thursday after heavy wind and rain hit the area overnight.
As of about 1 p.m., 266 United Illuminating Co. customers had no power, according to the company's outage map.
The town experienced some downed trees as a result of the storm, but no major damage, Fire Marshal Brian Lampart said. There were no injuries and no significant flooding other than under the viaducts.

Stratford is subject to a high wind warning until 6 p.m. Thursday, with the potential for gusts of up to 50 mph, according to the National Weather Service.
