Main Street To Close In Stratford For Emergency Repair

STRATFORD, CT — There will be closures Monday on Main Street while a deteriorated sanitary main receives an emergency repair, according to the mayor. Starting at 7 a.m., Main Street will be closed southbound at Wells Place and northbound at South Avenue, Mayor Laura Hoydick said in a Facebook post. The road will detour from South Avenue to Elm Street to Wells Place and then back to Main Street. The closures are expected to last most of the day.
