Medical Marijuana Production Facility Approved In Stratford
Plans for the facility were recently approved by the Stratford Zoning Commission.
STRATFORD, CT — Plans for a medical marijuana production facility to move into a Lordship industrial building were recently unanimously approved by the Stratford Zoning Commission, according to the Connecticut Post.
The Post reports Advanced Grow Labs will move into the 186,000-square-foot building at 125 Access Road that is currently occupied by Aptar, which announced last year it would be closing.
Officials from Advanced Grow Labs said it has outgrown its current facility in West Haven and the company plans to add 40 jobs when it moves to Stratford and eventually increase its payroll to about 150, according to the Post. It currently has about 60 full-time employees.
