New Gym Opens In Stratford

STRATFORD, CT — A new gym in Stratford is accepting members.

Powerhouse Gym Bridgeport opened Nov. 10 in a 22,000-square-foot facility at 99 Beardsley Ave., according to the business's Facebook page. The gym offers a variety of classes and equipment.

The Powerhouse Gym brand was established over 40 years ago, and has locations in 39 states and 17 countries, according to its website. The Stratford gym is one of two Powerhouse locations in Connecticut, with the second being in New Haven.
