Play's CT Premiere Kicks Off 30th Season For Stratford Company
The play opened Thursday, Nov. 7, and runs through Sunday, Nov. 24.

Via Square One Theatre: STRATFORD, CT — The bold and often hilarious new play, "Admissions," is the opening production of Square One Theatre’s 30th Anniversary Season. Described as having "the force of a bulldozer and the precision of a scalpel" (Metro), "Admissions" will leave the audience “questioning the status quo.”
Winner of the New York Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle awards for Best Play, this will be the Connecticut premiere "Admissions," written by Joshua Harmon.
The play tells the story of Sherri Rosen-Mason, who heads the admissions department of a New England prep school, fighting to diversify its student body. She and her husband, the school’s headmaster, have succeeded in bringing a stodgy institution into the 21st century. But when their only son sets his sights on an Ivy League university, personal ambition collides with progressive values with convulsive results.
