No School Tuesday In Stratford Amid Wintry Weather

STRATFORD, CT — All schools are closed Tuesday in Stratford amid wintry weather, according to the school district website. The Board of Education Administration Building will open at 10 a.m., the website said.

The area is under a Hazardous Weather Outlook, as well as a Winter Weather Advisory that lasts until 10 a.m. Tuesday. Up to 1 inch of snow and a light glaze of ice could cause slippery roads and a hazardous morning commute, according to the advisory. A mix of rain and freezing rain is expected to turn completely to rain after 1 p.m., the National Weather Service reported.
