Obituary: Carmella 'Millie' Minervino Napolitano, 84

Millie, as she was fondly called at the Baldwin Senior Center, was a graduate of Stratford High School Class of 1947.

Carmella "Millie" Minervino Napolitano, age 84, of Stratford beloved wife of Lawrence R. Napolitano Sr. passed away suddenly on Dec. 19, 2013 in Bridgeport Hospital with her loving family by her side.

Millie was born on May 23, 1929 in Stratford and was the daughter of the late Alfred and Gabriella Fossadier Minervino.

She was a graduate of Stratford High School Class of 1947, an active member of VFW 9460, the Women’s Auxiliary, loved spending time at the Stratford Baldwin Center, where she was an active member and volunteer and also cherished spending precious time with family, especially her grandson and great granddaughter.

In addition to her beloved husband Lawrence, Millie is also survived by one son, Lorenzo R. Napolitano Jr. and Kim Roberts of Milford, two daughters June Napolitano Pruitt of Bradenton, Fla. and Gail Tenney and husband Vincent of Stratford, one grandson Matthew Tenney and wife Cristina, one great granddaughter Ava Grace and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her beloved parents, Millie was also predeceased by two brothers Pierre Martin and Peter Minervino and one sister Marie Felner.
