Obituary: Cora E. Hubbard, 91, of Stratford
Cora, a wonderful role model and a woman ahead of her time, was a trained artist and avid photographer and traveler.
STRATFORD, CT - (From Adzima Funeral Home) Cora was a wonderful role model and a woman ahead of her time, choosing a career path over raising a family.
She lived in Frankfurt, Germany for many years working for the US Army as a contracting specialist, purchasing supplies for US troops all around the world.
She was a trained artist and an avid photographer and traveler, chronicling her many trips through her photographs.
Also, an avid learner, she attained her master’s degree in her 60’s. Cora leaves behind her sister Georgette, her niece Denise Allen, two great nieces Christine Bettera and Renee Mills, and a great-great nephew.
There will be a private family internment in Middletown Springs, VT.
Anyone wishing to honor her memory may do so through a donation to the American Heart Association.
