Obituary: Dolores June Golembeski, 83, formerly of Stratford
Dolores was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
STRATFORD, CT - (From Adzima Funeral Home) Dolores June Golembeski, age 83, of Milford, formerly of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Mitchell Golembeski, passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2021, surrounded by her loving family in Bridgeport Hospital.
Dolores was born in Bridgeport on October 14, 1937, to the late Edward and Helena (Hanko) Mangler and had been a lifelong area resident.
Survivors include her devoted children, Theresa Rivera and her husband Robert of Bridgeport, Patricia Ruskin and her husband Brian of Stratford, and Walter Golembeski and his wife Erica of Beacon Falls, 5 cherished grandchildren, Christopher, Samuel, Benjamin, and Sonny Ruskin, and Seth Golembeski, a sister, Beverly Mangler of Milford, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and beloved husband, Dolores was pre-deceased by her devoted son, Robert, and sisters, Geraldine Smith, and Dorothy Weyant.
The family would like to thank the staff of Bridgeport Hospital for their kindness and compassion.
A graveside memorial service will take place on Tuesday June 29th at 11:30 a.m. meeting directly at Union Cemetery 23 Temple Court Stratford.
