Obituary: Joan Colene Bajorinas, 83, of Stratford

STRATFORD, CT - (From Pistey Funeral Home) Joan Colene Bajorinas, age 83, of Stratford, died on May 13,2021 at Griffin Hospital.

Joan was born in Tama, Iowa to the late Colene and Richard Sevick. She graduated from UCONN and began her career as a dietitian.

Joan was employed for 35 years at Griffin Hospital. It was her wish to be remembered for making people's lives better, and all who knew her would say she accomplished that goal.

Survivors include three beloved children, Andrew Bajorinas, Michael Bajorinas and Diane Bajorinas; three grandchildren, Allison, Jessica and Christina Bajorinas; brother, Douglas Sevick; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to celebrate Joan’s life with a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, May 28,2021 at 11 am at Our Lady of Grace Church, 497 Second Hill Lane, Stratford.
