Obituary: Joseph S. Gerak, 97, of Stratford
Joseph was a retired member of the Stratford Board of Education.
STRATFORD, CT - (From Pistey Funeral Home) Joseph S. Gerak, age 97, of Stratford, died at his home on Thursday, June 12, 2021.
Mr. Gerak was born in the Slovakian Republic and emigrated to the United States with his parents, John and Elizabeth (Duch), as a youngster.
He retired from the Stratford Board of Education.
He is survived by his loving sister, Arline Gerak.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, William and a sister, Mary.
Funeral services and burial will be private.
