Obituary: Michael G. Sutyak, 68, of Stratford

STRATFORD, CT - (From Adzima Funeral Home) Michael G. Sutyak, age 68, of Stratford, passed away on May 5, 2021 in St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Bridgeport.

Michael was born in Bridgeport on January 2, 1953 to the late Michael and Anna (Kraynak) Sutyak and had been a lifelong Stratford resident. He was a graduate of Bunnell High School class of 1971 and earned an AS from Dean Junior College in Franklin, Massachusetts.

Michael was an avid fan of the UConn Women’s Basketball Team and enjoyed collecting coins, sports cards, and books.

He will be forever remembered as a man of quiet strength, deep kindness, and unconditional love. Survivors include his beloved daughter, Katia Noll, and her husband Eric of Milford, 2 cherished grandchildren, Weston and Zoe, a brother, George Sutyak, and his wife Angela of Stratford, aunt, Juliann Porter, and many cousins.

A walk-through visitation period will be held on Monday, May 10th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.

Guests are asked to wear face masks and socially distance as they enter the building, pay their respects, and exit in order to allow others the same opportunity.

Funeral services will take place on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment in St. John’s Cemetery, Stratford will follow.
