Robert E. Stasko age 83, of Stratford, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2013 in his residence with his loving family by his side.
Bob was born in Bridgeport on September 24, 1929 and was the son of the late George and Julia Howard Stasko.
He was a United States Army veteran and a retired draftsman for the US Baird Company. Bob was a sporting enthusiast, especially watching the UCONN huskies and NY Yankees. He traveled extensively and was a great fixer-upper.
Bob is survived by his devoted daughter, Sandra Lois Stasko of Stratford, brother, John Stasko and wife Dorothy of Stratford, sister, Margaret Aldrich and husband Kenneth of Milford, sister-in-law, Midge Stasko, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and his long-time companion, Laurette.
In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his son Ronald and three brothers, William, Albert and George.
At Bob’s request, all services will be private and at the convenience of the family. The Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main St., Stratford, has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
