Obituary: Yvonne L. DeAngelis, 88

STRATFORD, CT - Yvonne L. DeAngelis, 88, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Harold DeAngelis, passed away on February 26, 2020.

Born on June 13, 1931 in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Mary (Fontane) Breault.

Yvonne enjoyed a 34-year career working with Dr. Resnick’s and Dr. Shoenthal’s office, until her retirement. She was an active parishioner at St. James Church and sang in the choir. Yvonne was also a talented piano player and avid Yankee fan. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and spoiling her grandchildren. She will be missed by many.

Yvonne is survived by her children, Lynn DeAngelis, Gail (Matthew) Balls, Michael DeAngelis, and Kathy (Ken) Boudreau; her grandchildren, David, Kevin and Lisa Balls, Hugh and Lia DeAngelis, and Jenna and Ava Lang; her siblings, Richard (Irene) Breault, Annette Hughes, and Leo (Linda) Breault; her sister-in-law, Liz DeAngelis; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Yvonne was predeceased by her brother-in-law, David Hughes.

Friends and family may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, February 28, 2020 at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT 06460. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Saint James Church, 2110 Main St.
