The Stratford Arts Guild invites all creative spirits to draw, sketch, paint and create as part of our Community Art Project, Sunday, Aug. 25, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Paradise Green in Stratford.
The event is part of “Artists and Artisans in Paradise" show and sale to be held on the green.

The guild will provide four large panels, set up on easels, along with paint and other media, for visitors young and old to show their talents.
Each panel is sponsored by a local business, including Milford Bank, Mutual Security Credit Union, and others. The completed panels will be displayed by the sponsors in September.

“Part of our mission at the guild is get our community to jump into this conversation which is art: to participate, have fun, and to talk about art— themselves, and with their kids too,” says Roger Salls, Stratford Arts Guild president. “Making and selling art is very dynamic and exciting.”
The community art project is just one part of the festival “Artists and Artisans in Paradise,” featuring original fine art and crafts for sale, food vendors, and live music from local musicians including the School of Rock of Shelton and Dave Hogan and Steve Leite.
