Parking Ban Issued For Stratford Due To Wintry Weather

STRATFORD, CT — Due to wintry weather, there will be a parking ban until 8 p.m. Tuesday in Stratford to accommodate clearing of streets, according to a town news release. Parking is permitted on the odd-numbered side of the road only.

Schools were closed Tuesday as a wintry mix fell over the town, which is under a Hazardous Weather Outlook. A Winter Weather Advisory expires at 1 p.m. A combination of rain and freezing rain is expected to turn completely to rain around noon, the National Weather Service reported.
