Passionate, Inspired, Creative Dancers

Rockwell Dance Center in Trumbull invites you to be a part of a community of artists, teachers and dancers who truly care and who are passionate about sharing their love of the art form of dance. RDC faculty inspire their students to be all they can be and to find their place in the world of dance. Creating an environment to explore and discover which discipline of dance they excel at; or perhaps are they innate choreographers, budding costume designers, natural teachers, performers or dance may be a place they come to just to relax and enjoy movement. RDC is a place that allows each student to be themselves in a holistic space where they learn terminology, technique, anatomy, dance history and more.

Join RDC this Summer for dance programs with amazing Guest Faculty from ABT, Momix, Mark Morris, Buglisi and Keigwin + Co! Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, Tap - try one or more of these great Summer workshops. RDC's Musical Theater Workshops is taught by cast members from West Side Story, Bandstand and Fiddler on the Roof plus Precision Dance with a former Rockette! Little dancers can enjoy a week of Frozen, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Jojo Siwa, Trolls and Story Time. There is truly something for everyone from Ages 3 thru 20, beginner thru advanced!

RDC offers FREE Summer Classes in July and August – studio tours - student placement evaluations and more! Class Registration is on-going all Summer and placement evaluations are available. Ask about RDC Dance Scholarships!

Instruction in ballet, pointe, partnering, modern, contemporary, jazz, hip hop, tap, adult hip hop, kids bop and a young dancers program. There are four dance companies (Modern, Ballet, Hip Hop and Tap) and ALL students are offered multiple performance opportunities throughout the year (YAGP, Dance Competitions and Conventions, Hip Hop, Ballet and Tap Showcases, Hip Hop Battles, Benefit Concerts, A Winter Ballet/Nutcracker, A Spring Ballet and the year end Recital). Every student receives a solid foundation in dance following their dance syllabus and rubrics for every level. In addition students learn the importance of giving back to their community. RDC students earn community service hours while helping to raise scholarship funds, dancing for Cancer, Yale Children's Hospital, AIDS, Special Olympics and many other worthwhile organizations.

Stop by for a tour of RDC's 12,000+ square feet of studio space: 5 dance studios, 3 voice/music studios, locker room, company room, professional costume shop, kitchen, cafe, black box theater, two welcoming lobbies and more.

Rockwell Dance is a State of CT Certified Covid Safe and will continue to follow class size limits, cleaning/disinfecting protocol, masks, etc, to insure the safety of their students, families and staff.
