Road Closures Announced For Main Street Festival In Stratford

Police are advising motorists of road closures that will be in effect for the Main Street Festival in Stratford.

STRATFORD, CT — The Stratford Police Department is advising motorists of road closures that will be in effect for the Main Street Festival, which will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 5.

Main Street will be closed for all traffic from East Broadway to Stratford Avenue.

West Broad Street will also be closed from the rotary to Main Street.

The closures will be in effect from about 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Disability Parking

The front lot of the Baldwin Senior Center at 1000 W. Broad Street is reserved for Disability Parking. Vehicles must have a valid Disability Parking placard in plain view on the mirror, access can be made via the Perry House lot

Public Parking

Is available on local side streets, Stratford Train Station, or a short walk from the Shakespeare property or Stratford High School

Dogs must be kept on leash and controlled by their owner

Bikes must be walked throughout the festival
