Roaming Bear Tranquilized in Stratford: Report
The bear reportedly was seen jumping over a fence into a backyard on Friday evening.
Stratford, CT — A bear that was spotted jumping over a fence and into a tree on Clover Street was tranquilized and relocated on Friday night, according to Connecticut News 12.
News 12 reports kids playing on a nearby baseball field were evacuated while state environmental officials tranquilized the bear cub and took it to be relocated.
